Cutting of tantalum rods, tantalum tubes and tantalum processing parts

The melting point of tantalum is 2980℃, second only to tungsten (3380℃), and its density is 16.67 g/cm3. In annealing state, tantalum has good plasticity and is stable at high temperature. It can absorb and hold gas. Tantalum is acid resistant and biosuitable material. Tantalum is widely used in electronic, chemical, medical and other industries. At the same time, tantalum is also an indispensable material for making cemented carbide. Baoji Zhongpu provides: tantalum board, tantalum rod, tantalum tube; Niobium plate, niobium rod, niobium tube

Tantalum has high melting point, high density, good plasticity in annealing state and stable performance at high temperature. The annealed tantalum material is soft and tough, which causes serious adhesion during cutting and leads to tool adhesion wear. Especially when the cutting speed is lower than 20m/min, the phenomenon of sticking knife and tearing is more serious. When the cutting speed is higher than 40m/min, the tearing phenomenon is greatly reduced. The cutting tool is required to be as sharp as possible and the cutting speed should not be too low. The general use of carbide tool materials, commonly used are YG8, YW2 and so on. The geometric parameters of the tool are: γO= 35O ~ 45o, αO= 5O ~ 8O, KAPa R =90o, KAPa 'R = 5O,γO1= -2O ~ 2O, B γ=0.1 ~ 0.3mm, R ε=0.2 ~ 0.5mm, and the surface roughness of the front and rear Ra&lt. 0.16 ~ 0.32μm to reduce friction and knife sticking phenomenon. Baoji Zhongpu provides: tantalum board, tantalum rod, tantalum tube; Niobium plate, niobium rod, niobium tube

The choice of cutting amount is as follows: the thick car when ν C =30 ~ 70m/min, AP =5 ~ 8mm, F =0.2 ~ 0.4mm/r; Fine car, half fine car when ν C =50 ~ 80m/min, AP ≤1.5mm, F =0.1 ~ 0.3mm/r. When cutting, cutting fluid with cooling and lubrication should be used, and the flow should be sufficient.
